Apply for Certificat of Eligibility (4 months "Business Manager" visa)

  • You have to make article of incorporation (article of association).
  • You have to find out prospective business facility in Japan to rent or buy after you entered into Japan.

Change of Status of Residence

  • You can apply for "Change of Status of Residence" by yourself if you have been staying Japan on another kind of visa such as working or student.

Extension of Period of Stay

  • You can apply for ”Extension of Period of Stay” during 3 months before of the date of expiry until the expiry date of the current ”Business Manager” visa.

  • The success fee is payment to the lawyer, so that you have success in getting permission.
  • ”Change of status of Residence” shall take another 4,000 yen for revenue stamp.
  • ”Extension of Period of Stay” shall take another 4,000 yen for revenue stamp.
  • In the case of special cases (such as excess debt, two consecutive years of deficit, etc.), additional costs may be incurred for the application for change of status of residence.
  • It shall take extra charges except application for Tokyo regional immigration bureau or Yokohama district immigration office such as transportation charges and daily allowance (except online application).
